Many people live with invisible illness- autoimmune diseases, mental illness, chronic pain. We had Cassie in our space to speak about her struggle with an invisible illness- endometriosis. Cassie is a Massage Therapy student who has been living with endo for years and has noticed that she feels like she has to validate her illness to people constantly because people don’t view this disease as debilitating as it actually can be and as it is in reality for Cassie. She speaks about the parallels with autoimmune diseases and why she wants to bring awareness to this very painful condition.
