Check out this phone conversation we had with Alicia, a Massage Therapist in Nova Scotia. Alicia is also the President of MTWPAM - the Massage Therapists and Wholistic Practitioners Association of the Maritimes. As of January 1, 2020 Massage Therapists that belong to one of the associations in Nova Scotia has the protection of the title "Massage Therapist" meaning only those in good standing with the associations can use this protected title. This is not to be confused with regulation and self-governance.
