Episode 17: BLM - George Floyd 1 Year On

A year later since the tragic murder of George Floyd and the subsequent uprise of the Black Lives Matter movement; The Poofs are joined by creatives, models, freelance artists and activists Busola and Gia to explore the legacy of George Floyd and what work is still yet to be done. The Poofs realise they have 2 ears and 1 mouth, and this is definitely the time to exercise that, so they hand over the mics and seek to further understand racism, the BLM movement and exactly what our POC family face everyday. From Intersectionality, micro aggressions, colourism to inclusivity and how we can come together, they explore the legacy left behind by George Floyd and how we pay this forward.
