#93 Palabras confusas lie, lay, rise, raise..

Hay unas palabras que se confunden muy a menudo en inglés ya que son muy similares. Aquí está el resumen de ellas: Lie - lied - lied (mentir) "she lied to me about her experience" Lie - lay - lain (tumbarse) "He lay under the oak tree dreaming about a new life" Lay - laid - laid (poner con cuidado) "I laid the evidence on the table as instructed" Rise - Rose - Risen (subir, pero es un verbo sin objeto/intransitivo) "In December prices rise" Raise - raised - raised (subir - verbo con objeto/transitivo) "We raised our hands in approval" Live - con la /I/ corta y leave con la /i:/ larga El idiom de hoy es "hit and miss" y se usa cuando algo es un poco inestable o no muy fiable.
