Deanna of @thehealthycreative_ and I teach our clients that the way to get anything you want is to be willing to feel uncomfortable. One of the first things we teach our clients is that what they perceive as a weakness, is actually a strength they have that is being overused. And the next thing we teach is that the more willing you are to feel uncomfortable, the more you achieve in your life. One of the best ways to practice this is in our families. Noticing what you are feeling before you react or yell at your kids is a good indicator of what you are not willing to feel for very long. We talk about our most uncomfortable emotions: embarrassment, shame, irritation, and feeling annoyed.
