This week Beth and Wendy discuss Shinkichi Sakurada, a Japanese Canadian man who killed people for insurance money during the Great Depression in Vancouver, Canada. He was convicted of one murder, but is believed to have killed dozens more.We tell the story of the murderer, the murder(s), and his motives. We also discuss Japanese immigrant culture in Canada. As usual we close out the show with some shout outs, crime news and of course, some tips on how not to get shmurdered. Please forgive us on the sound this week. We are almost done working out the kinks but not completely out of the woods at the time of this recording. Wendy got a new mic so we should be back next week with more fire ass content for your ears. Thanks for listening!
