During a deployment to Iraq, Dan was severely wounded when his vehicle drove over an Improvised Explosive Device, killing half of his team. A month later, he would wake up from a coma, rejoin the Unit, and continue to deploy into combat. Ibach was assigned to the United Kingdom's 22nd Special Air Service Regiment as a liaison from the Unit. We discussed hostage rescue, tracking Qasem Soleimani, and much more.
