In The Seats With...Caitlin Durlak and 'Dropstones'

Sometimes life is about being able to appreciate what you have... On this episode of 'In The Seats With...' we're diving even deeper into Hot Docs which runs online Canada wide until May 9th with a look at 'Dropstones'. This film follows Sonya, who returns to the remote Fogo Island off of Newfoundland with her two sons after leaving an abusive husband. Despite having left the island only years earlier she returns determined to raise her two sons to be good men in the only place she knows how. It's a fascinating little piece of POV/Fly On The Wall cinema that you can't help but get engrossed in, we sat with director Caitlin Durak to talk about the inspiration for the film, shooting in such a remote part of the country and so very much more.
