Despite billions of dollars in aid money, Haiti struggles with some of the highest levels of poverty and unemployment in the Western hemisphere. Port-Au-Prince is a city that is seemingly in a constant state of crisis but this film manages to navigate around demonstrations and barricades to make a space for the people to speak candidly about the grim realties they encounter on a daily basis all these years later. We talked with Emanuel about the inspiration for the film, the meaning of the 'Zo Reken' and so very much more...
