The award-winning comedian subverts the traditional sitcom format by combining eccentric characters with surreal moments and scientific insight. Sara plays a version of herself – an intelligent woman with the moodiness of an adolescent and the dress sense of a 6-year-old. The show is set in the wonderland of her younger sister’s wedding preparations. Sara doesn’t know why everyone else in the world is pairing up and having babies, as the only sane person she is determined to prove that romantic love is just chemicals and conditioning. Sara’s strong opinions are rarely appreciated. As well as following Sara’s outer life, ‘Out Of Her Mind’ explores the inner workings of Sara’s psyche. Sara addresses the audience and presents the results of her subjective research into each episode’s subject matter. This was an incredibly interesting, self reflective and borderline philosophical piece of comedy like we've never seen before and we talk we Sara about the inspiration for the show, what got her into comedy and exposing those uncomfortable moments in life to give us something truly relatable...
