In The Seats With...Yibing Jiang and Jason Keane for "Windup"

It's the kind of season where asking "For Your Consideration" is an important thing... On this episode we dive into the world of short film and we talk with Writer/Director Yibing Jiang and Animation Director Jason Keane; the driving creative forces behind the animated short "Windup" which is vying and hoping for some gold in their future. A very personal story, "Windup" chronicles the tale of a father trying to connect with his sick daughter via a windup music box and her favorite childhood tunes in hopes that she'll wake up and recover from disease that has left her hospital bound for longer then any parent could bear. We talk with both Yibing and Jason about the personal aspects of the story as well as the growing ability for independent artists and creators to make animated films outside of a larger studio based system.
