Nat & Ang continue on with their Invested Success Series. And Ang puts Nat in the hot seat asking her questions about being in a mastermind. What is a Mastermind? It's a meeting with a group of business professionals that respect one another, and give peer to peer mentoring. Not just around business, about also touching on self help and personal development. What is are the largest benefits of being part of a Mastermind? Nat explains it’s the accountability, and second fold, receiving business advice from top notch business owners that are like-minded and that she respects completely. Being very picky about who should be invited into your mastermind is one of the most important parts to starting a mastermind. How would you go about starting a Mastermind? Is there criteria to start? 1. Find a group of people who are committed  2. And people you respect fully in their opinions 3. Choose how long and how often you want to meet 4. Help each other grow regularly 5. Have an agenda and a time keeper Nat and a peer spoke on the phone one day on how “You are the sum of the five people you spend the most time with”. And decided to create a group with five individuals - spending lots of time with these four individuals and the fifth being your spouse - this was worked for them. Is there an ideal number of members in a Mastermind? Nat prefers a smaller group, but knows of a other masterminds that contain over 50 people. How has this pandemic changed her Mastermind? Because a mastermind is a group of people committed to each other, they have always kept their meetings as a priority. Whether someone is sick, or on vacation, they never miss a meeting. And have conducted great meetings thru zoom conference calls. The only difference is that we now get on a call once a week to check in with each other and make sure everyone is doing okay. But everything is still business as usual in regards to the monthly meetings. They discuss why they created this series. It’s about learning about different ways that you can invest in yourself and your business. And with a mastermind, seeing how far they have come in two years of being in each others lives is inspiring. Nat ends the conversation discussing that it’s really important to network and get out there to be part of a group. Even if it’s not a mastermind.  Napoleon Hill wrote in The Law of Success in 1925, all about Masterminds. Almost 100 years ago! Let’s Put This Episode Into Focus: 1. Masterminds are built on mutual Respect 2. Commitment is Key 3. It’s not all business. There is room for personal growth. 4. Masterminds are all about Accountability Want to join Nat & Ang LIVE?
