More about today’s winery: PRO.VI.MA.(Viticultural Producers in Matelica) is the oldest cellar in the upper Vallesina area, founded in the 1932. The origins date back in the histories of Matelica’s farming families who, generation after generation, have been putting dedication and passion to the cultivation of grapes. The current farmer cooperative was formed in the 1978 and nowadays it boasts 180 vine growers and operates a vineyard area of around 100 hectares. PROVIMA cellar produce about 7.000 hectoliters of wine and about the 25% is bottled. From 2017 we have been producing organic wines.
