Michael Madigan Guilty In Landmark Corruption Case

The former Illinois House speaker — the longest-serving legislative leader in American history — was convicted by a federal jury of bribery, conspiracy and wire fraud. The jury found him not guilty or deadlocked on other counts after more than a week of deliberations.
