In this episode, I speak with my good friend Billy Ingram, who is the Director of Lean Product and Process Development at Interface. We discuss his process improvement background prior to Interface, then talk about his current work that is extending the environmental sustainability vision provided by founder Ray Anderson. He has helped developed more sustainable carpet products, but also incorporated more social responsibliity in these projects, along with best practices in process improvement. We also discuss how he shows respect for people by giving his staff opportunities to learn and develop their skills. You can watch the video below, or visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0I0EPR5ehE Links* Billy Ingram – LinkedIn * Interface * Sherpa Institute on LinkedIn (old site at SherpaInstitute.org) * Influencer Model * Ray Anderson – Founder of InterfaceIf you enjoy this podcast, please follow us on your favorite podcast app. Any ratings you could give us, or shares across social media would be greatly appreciated!* Read full show notes | Subscribe or rate this podcastPromotions* FREE online course called “Lean Six Sigma and the Environment” * OpEx Six Sigma Online Training and Certification * Creative Safety Supply – Free 5S GuideHave you ordered the new book, “Lean Six Sigma for Good: Lessons fr...
