She also had the attitude that if she needed to lose weight, she would crash diet.It was all about the number on the scale, not about being healthy, says Nicola.Then in her mid-30s when she stopped smoking, her weight really started to go up... even though she was eating low-fat.But all those low-fat products were full of sugar!
