Equity markets across the US and Europe ended the day in the red yesterday. Central Bank meetings continued: the Bank of Japan left rates unchanged and then announced they were intervening in an attempt to stop the slide of the yen; the Swiss National Bank, the Norges Bank and the Bank of England all announced rate hikes.
