Gold jewellery made from old phones

Every year, millions of tonnes of electronic waste including old laptops, mobile phones and televisions are thrown away and end up in landfill. Britain's Royal Mint - whose job it is to make coins for the UK - has found a new way to extract the precious metals from e-waste, into something valuable.
