Full House: S3E19: Those Better Not Be The Days (Weird But Funny Dream Sequences Series)

Happy Friday Full House Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. This month I'm kicking off a new series called Weird But Funny Dream Sequences and today I'm focusing on Full House: Those Better Not Be The Days, which aired on February 23, 1990. In this episode It's not Friday, but things sure get freaky when the men and girls switch roles for a day. This episode had me out of breath laughing in some scenes once we got to the dream sequence of what the guys envision their future if the girls are still living in the house 25 years later. I mean Jesse in the wig, GAH! I do to the best of my ability of impressions of the guys as older men. Let's back up a moment to explain what led up to this dream sequence kicks off. Kimmy's mom is taking the girls to an amusement park for the day (no, we don't meet her), this surprises me since she never seems to want to spend time with her own daughter(because Kimmy sees to always be at the Tanner house) but she'll babysit someone else's three kids for the day, hmm? The girls mainly DJ and Steph (Michelle gets a break cause she's 3)are all demanding of the guys when it comes to Danny with DJ's sweater (he even had a garment bag for it) she shoves it in her backpack, Steph with Joey getting her camera for her plus extra film, batteries and lens cleaner all in a ziplock bag (it's a 35 mm camera for crying out loud) she disregards it and says "I don't want to lug all that stuff around, I'll just buy postcards" she also has a backpack btw and poor Jesse made a map of the park for the girls(now this is pre internet so he must have committed to memory from his many times at this amusement park to sketch and draw this massive map, which the girls tell him "well, that was a waste of time", because they're going to ride Screaming Thunder all day long (so most of the day will be spent waiting in line). After the amusement park is a no go due to rain, the girls continue with the demands and ruining the guy's plans for the day to the point where Danny has them play a role reversal game with DJ and Steph as parents and the guys as kids. The lunch time routine had me in tears I was laughing so hard. The whole thing in the future with adult Kimmy grossed me out with the guys mainly Joey being attracted to Kimmy, eww! Poor Becky, with straw hat, glasses, and her polyester pants and balloon booty and Mama's Family gray wig. What a fright! In this episode D.J. stresses out over taking the S.A.Ts, despite her family's reassurances that 'it's just a test'. I hope you all enjoy this review!
