'There's no place for hatred in this country': Race Discrimination Commissioner

Australia's Race Discrimination Commissioner says the solution to racism is there, but the government needs to act. In an address to the National Press Club, Giridharan Sivaraman said all kinds of racism have increased since the October 7 attacks in the Middle East, and some government approaches are pitting communities against each other.
