Today we spoke with David Carey – Pro Irish golfer who scored a history-making record low score 57 on the PGA Tour, and member of Team Ireland Golf. Ireland has just come out of lockdown. Irish golf courses are open again, weather permitting. We felt it was fitting to release this episode now - with a young golfer who we will be keeping a close eye on in the future. David has his mind set on winning multiple majors! In today's conversation we speak about training, preparation, golfers' mindset, swing speed, distance and other technical pieces to the game. It's fascinating to hear David talk about practice versus match play, and who he admires on the pro circuit...and why. Of course we dig into the story of when David shot 57 on the tour and what that felt like. In golf we lose more than we win, even Tiger - control what you can control.
