Jimmy Tarbuck is a comedy legend with more than 60 years at the very top of his profession, and is one of the most popular household names from the golden era of British stand up. Jimmy’s breakthrough appearance was at the London Palladium and from that his career snowballed and shot him into fame in the world of comedy and broadcasting. He has worked with some of the greats Tom Jones, Judy Garland, Cilla Black and Ronnie Corbett, and aside from his stand-up, he truly has entertained the nation as a singer, actor and game show host. Still touring at 84, he is a veteran in the world of live comedy. In the episode (one of his only podcast interviews) Jimmy opens up about his incredible life including working with his footballing heroes, having dinner with Elvis, going to school with John Lennon and meeting Frank Sinatra. The stage is still his home and laughter has always been the drug that feeds his soul and gives him strength.
