Mike, Shauna, and Jeremy are in studio to conclude their discussion on, "what is biblical counseling". In this episode, they discuss the nature of biblical counseling and discipleship, that they're not that different in their dynamic and scope. Based on Ephesians 4:11-14, equipping the Saints for the work of the ministry is informal biblical counseling, both intentional and intensive. More over, if the local church isn't progressing in this level of "one another-ing", then the Saints will go to modern psychology seeking help and solutions for their problems and distress. The culture has a church and doctrine, its called, modern psychology, and their doctrine is the diagnostic statistical manual. And it counter's the gospel they received from God's Word, so we have some work to do.
