For episode 20 I had a fun and fascinating discussion with my friend and ADE colleague, Larry Reiff. Larry is an English Language Arts & Computer Science teacher at Roslyn High School in Roslyn, NY. He was one of the first teachers in the country to pilot a full 1-to-1 iPad program with one of classes and now leads professional development classes on tech implementation in the classroom. In the summer of 2017, Larry became the coding instructor at NJY Camps in Milford, Pennsylvania. This school year Larry is teaching a mix of Freshman Humanities, App Development, and AP Computer Science Principles. As an Apple Distinguished Educator and a Google Certified Teacher, Larry Reiff understands that 21st century students absorb and integrate information very differently than any previous generation. Larry is Apple Distinguished Educator, Class of 2011.
