King, Bobby Blue Bland, Rufus Thomas, Junior Parker, James Cotton, and countless others.In fact, Sam Phillips' legacy was established long before Elvis walked through his front door.This is his story.  Sam Phillips inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 1998.
