Fleur de Force: Consistency, Persistence and being Realistic.

The Emma Guns Show - Un pódcast de Emma Gunavardhana

I was thrilled to sit down with Fleur Bell, better known as Fleur de Force (@fleurdeforce) to quiz her about her incredible success on YouTube and how she has turned filming videos for her beauty channel into a huge business.

If you're a regular listener to the show, you'll know I like to unpick how my guests have achieved their incredible success, whether it's finding out how brand owners created and developed their products, how editors have found their voice in their editorial, and much more besides (there's usually a dash of RuPaul's wisdom thrown in for good measure too...)

In seven years on YouTube she has grown an audience of nearly one and a half million subscribers, has a range of eyelashes with Eylure, and has authored two books; The Luxe Life and The Glam Guide

We talk about the early days of YouTube, what it takes to make it as a vlogger, her rules to success, growing up online and in the public eye, and her work ethic.

Fleur's Top 3 Products:

Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra Light Makeup SPF15, £32.

Yves Saint Laurent Luxurious Mascara for False Lash Effect, £25

Lancome Cushion Blush Subtil, £28.
