15. The fear of being seen and the exhilarating desire of being known

Do you desire to be known and in the same breath, fear being seen? Then this is the episode for you. Why do we seek out experiences where we do not receive the love we crave out of fear of actually receiving it? Who are we hiding from? Is it because we fear who we will be when the pain we hold so close to our identity is lifted? I share my own experience as well as provide extensive insight into why we do the things that we do, how it shows up in our psychology and our relationships. We’ll explore how our past wounds can make us reject the good things in life and cling to negative experiences. I'll share my journey of self-understanding and the importance of allowing others to know us by first knowing ourselves. We'll also discuss the impact of our childhood experiences on our ability to live authentically and the challenge of letting go of outdated self-perceptions. By examining these deep-seated fears, we can start to open ourselves up to new connections and experiences, allowing love and light to enter our lives.
