The one where we review House of Gucci and Bruised

We’ve got a review of House of Gucci, a film about a young woman (Lady Gaga) who marries into the Gucci family in 70s Italy. The film unravels to reveal family fueds, revenge, betrayal, and eventually murder. Who said it was only your family that had problems? Check out the show for what we thought! We also review the directorial debut of Halle Berry (X-Men) in the sports drama Bruised. In it, Berry plays Jackie Justice, an MMA fighter who quits after a devastating loss in the ring. Broke, and working as a cleaner, Justice relies on alcohol to cope with the her daily struggles. But when an opportunity to enter the ring presents itself, can Justice step up and take her shot? Check out the show on what we thought. Over on Anniversary Corner we look back at The Devil Wears Prada (2006). And over on Hidden Gems we’ve got A Vigilante (2018), starring Olivia Wilde as a physical abuse survivor who takes it upon herself to help women escape a life of abuse but also to track down her abusive husband.
