Top Gun: Maverick, a sequel to 1986s Top Gun, sees the return of Tom Cruise as Captain Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell. Unable or unwilling to move up the ranks in the military, Maverick is tasked with teaching an elite group of fighter pilots for a secret mission only he’s best suited for. 80s music, check. 80s hairstyles, check.
