Hence the turbulent waters and wicked storms!I was also teaching wilderness first aid. I taught adventure guides, military personnel, mining companies, Cree first nations groups, and anyone who worked in remote areas across Canada. My job was to teach them how to keep patients alive and survive in the wilderness until they handed them off to definitive care.I thrived in making theory more accessible to learners with simulation-based exercises. I was really good at faking wounds and could have probably become an accomplished make-up artist! Those early years gave me an appreciation for risk management, customer care, health and safety, systems thinking, instructional design, leadership development, teamwork, continuous improvement, networking, sales, and a crazy love for running my own business!I'm out of space here! So, if you want the story about the near drowning and what happened after, throw me a line!https://calendly.com/marcmerulla/ CONTACT METHOD  You can follow and connect with Marc via: LinkedIn:  Marc Merulla | LinkedIn
