You already know that objective assessments are very important as they help you check how your patient is progressing... And help guide the rehab process. You might think then, that completing more testing is therefore better.... But this is not the case! Too much testing, the wrong type of testing or testing at the wrong time in the rehab process can be a complete waste of time... And worse than that, actually cause injury! It is hard to know what to do as everywhere you look on social media you see some physio using some fancy gadgets and tech to test someone or something, using force plates, nordboards, hand help dynamometers and all sorts of other equipment. If there is something that can be tested, you can bet that someone has designed some sort of gadget to test it! So how do you know what to test and when to test it? Find out in this week's podcast episode! Enjoy the show! Andy The New Grad Physio Mentor PS. I'd love to hear your feedback on this podcast.
