Since then, Izurieta has worked on several political campaigns in Latin America, and Spain, including in México, Ecuador, Perú, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic. He has advised President Alejandro Toledo of Perú, President Vicente Fox of Mexico and President Alvaro Colom of Guatemala.
