The Producer Price Index measures a change in input prices of raw, semi-finished or finished goods and services. It's a good indicator of future inflation. It dropped by -1.5%, predicted to come in at -0.5%. This is the biggest drop since lockdown in May 2020. Do the Bank of England know what they are doing?
