In this week's episodes, we sit down with Samira Ahmed who is a self-taught makeup artist that lives in Denmark. She is also a board member at Denmarks Intersectional Folk School. Samira shares her experiences in the beauty and Fashion industry and how she has navigated in spaces she has felt underrepresented in. We discuss how we have viewed ourselves growing up as Black Danes and some of the challenges we have experienced finding our identity and role models we could mirror ourselves in and how that has contributed towards the way we understood beauty.
