It tells the story of several main characters in their 30s who are BIPOC or queer as they live their normal lives in Los Angeles. Becca shares why representation is important to her, along with her involvement in Gabriela Los Angeles, a grassroots Filipino women’s organization that serves the community and fights for human rights locally and abroad. Becca also enjoys producing original work like her comedic short film, Spies, which was a winner at Indiedance in 2020 and awarded a Silver Finalist in the Spotlight Short Films Award in Atlanta. It was the official selection of the Oregon Short Film Festival, the Rock the Shorts Festival in Los Angeles, and the Austin Micro Film Festival.
