It’s so easy to get frustrated or angry with (or even worried about!) children who act self-centered -- children who get mad when you don’t give them what they want or insist that things must go the way they say. Unfortunately, explaining to children that they’re being selfish and why they need to stop doesn’t tend to change their behavior.
